Kendall Brune, PhD, MBA, LNHA, FACHCA – Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Kendall Brune serves as Missouri Chapter President of ACHCA, the National Academy Board for ACHCA, and a NAB (National Board of Long Term Care Administrators) Accreditation Examiner for participating Universities. He was recently nominated and appointed to develop national ACA domains of Practice and Licensing requirements for all Post-Acute care professionals. Dr. Brune has more than 25 years of experience extending from acute hospital administration to home healthcare services. His academic credentials include his designation as a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare.
Dr. Brune has applied these philosophies of care in the development and operation of 19 long-term care facilities, two retail and wholesale pharmacy operations, two MRDD and one mental health facility. He has over $150 million of construction management development experience.
Wesley Sperr, CFACHCA, MBA – Chief Operating Officer
Wes Sperr has over 32 years of experience in senior housing, long-term care and post-acute care management. He has over $48M of building construction and project financing experience. His extensive experience has been in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He has effectively implemented extensive rehabilitation services in the skilled nursing environment, adding significant revenue, which helped these facilities become a preferred post-hospital service provider in preparation for the anticipated ACO contract relationships.
Dave serves as the Vice President of H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, as the Greater Saint Louis Area Chair for the Missouri Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (MOESGR), and as the Director of Technology for the Saint Louis Regional Alliance for The Troops (RAFTT). Since 2003, he has worked to provide material and financial support for military members and their families and is personally responsible for developing programs and relationships which have generated over $100 million in both local and nationwide support. Dave is a strong proponent of creating partnerships among governmental and non-governmental organizations specializing in serving veterans. The H.E.R.O.E.S. Care program is an example of that leadership and vision.
This unprecedented program combines the power of four well established and effective national organizations working together to provide emergency financial and material aid, confidential mental health care, and job training and placement services through specially trained caregivers assigned to military families in the communities where they live. Dave brings over 30 years in fortune 500 management experience in support of the Veterans Villages of America initiative.
David Kirkland, BS – Chief Development Officer
David Kirkland has overseen public and private placement of securities, negotiated and closed acquisitions, negotiated and closed complex debt financings, managed staff in multiple states, resolved litigation matters, developed marketing strategies, and handled investor relations and communications. He was the founding entrepreneur charged with developing Allegro Senior Living, a senior housing business which has grown to over 850 employees serving residents in congregate and assisted living facilities in eight cities.
He previously served as the president and CEO for Love Funding Corporation, a commercial mortgage banking company, which in 2012 closed and funded over $1.2 billion in FHA insured commercial mortgage loans
